Frequently Asked Questions

So how does this work?
Instead of planning your vacations around CME events, you finally get to plan CME events around your vacation.  Now you can use CME funds to go where you want to go not where CME seminars decide to go.  You simply tell us where you want to go, what dates you wish to be there, and what sort of CME content you desire and we make it happen.

So how do you make it happen??
We see no difference between going all the way to Hawaii to listen to an expert speak on hypertension and going all the way Peoria to listen to the same expert speak on hypertension from some sort of media.  If you have access to the Internet at your vacation site, you can listen to an excellent medical seminar via webcast.  If you are more rugged and going somewhere that does NOT offer Internet access then you can read the exact same lecture on paper instead of listening to it.  What's the difference?  The important thing is that you increase your professional acumen and earn the CME credits you are required to maintain.

How much does it cost?

Compared to the cost of most CME Seminars, the cost is cheap. Depending on how many hours of CME you buy, the cost is about twenty three dollars per study hour.

How many days of Seminar do I need for a vacation?
You should purchase at least 2 hours of seminar per active vacation day .

So you sell CME?
Actually no. We are paid to organize a situation in which you are able to receive CME credits at a vacation destination.  It is YOUR job to attend those lectures (be they on paper or web) and it is also your responsibility to accurately report CME earned just as it has always been.  In fact most of the CME we use is freely available.  That said, it is up to date and features experts in their fields.  Unlike other companies, you don't have to worry about getting dated, old, lectures recorded two years ago.

Do you offer CME for anyone other than physicians?
Yes, anyone who needs medical CME can use our services.  It's just up to you to make sure you can apply the credits listed on the lecture.  Many lectures are worth additional CE for allied health and nursing.  Eventually we will make things a little easier for non-physicians.  We're not discriminating, we're just busy as heck.

How are the courses accredited?
All courses are accredited through the appropriate and legal channels.  Please see each lecture to note the credits available and the accreditation.    Many of the courses also count toward CME, CE etc for other allied health professionals and nurses.

What if my trip is canceled due to inclement weather?
We will allow you to reschedule your trip one time if it is canceled or delayed due to bad weather.

Where is my CME Content?
Once upon a time we sold CME Content in DVD format however due to the limitation it placed on our customers and a great idea from a customer, we now let you supply the CME content of your choice.  There are thousands of hours of free CME content available on the internet that you can use to fill your CME study time.  We also have a list of free CME providers.

What if I don't have internet access at my vacation location?

Not a problem.  Simply print our your paper seminars and take them with you and do the CME on your vacation.  The day you return home, log in and do the post tests. Typically, in many CME Seminars, you don't get the certificates of completion until sometime after the course has completed so it's not too different in this case.

Do you offer refunds?
If you cancel your trip before we send out you letter of receipt we will be glad to offer a full refund. If the letter has already been sent out, we will offer a refund if we are able to contact your payer and verify that they are refusing payment.  This must happen within 15 days of  ordering the seminar.

Can I get a Pre-approval Letter?
Sure, we will be happy to send you a letter stating the dates, location and topics of your desired seminar  including the presenters and the AMA Category 1 CME Credits available prior to any trip.  You can submit this for pre-approval.
